* 2 packages (1/4 ounce each) active dry yeast
* 5 cups all-purpose flour
* 1-1/2 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
* 1/2 cup warm milk (110° to 115°)
* 1/4 cup + 3 tbsp butter, softened and divided
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 3 tbsp sugar
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp garlic salt

Step1: Place yeast in a large bowl.
Step2: Dissolve in warm water.
Step3: Stir in the milk, sugar, salt and 3 tbsp butter.
Step4: Gradually add 2 cups flour.
Step5: Beat until smooth.
Step6: Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Step7: Turn onto a floured surface.
Step8: Knead for 8 minutes or until soft and elastic.
Step9: Put dough in a greased bowl.
